Fatboy High Capacity Gun Safe now in Southwest Minnesota
The Fatboy from Liberty Safe is a high capacity gun safe in Southwest Minnesota built for owners who need substantial room for rifles, shotguns, and mixed valuables under one roof. Offered by Southwest MN Safe as an authorized Liberty Safe dealer, the Fatboy stores up to 60 long guns and combines that capacity with 12-gauge American-made steel, a 75-minute fire rating, and interior configurations that keep optics, ammo, and documents organized right beside the long-gun collection.
Security Engineered Into the Body and Door
Liberty Safe crafts the Fatboy from 12-gauge American-made steel with eight locking bars measuring 4" wide by 1/4" thick, affording the door formidable resistance to pry attacks and forced-entry attempts. Homeowners researching a fire rated gun safe in Southwest Minnesota will see that the Fatboy offers a published 110-minute fire rating from Liberty Safe, tested at rated temperature, which is worth noting for households where response times can run longer and where paper, media, and firearms are stored in the same safe. Lock type is specified at order, with a mechanical dial or electronic keypad offered depending on the daily access experience you prefer. Every Fatboy is covered by Liberty Safe's lifetime repair-or-replace warranty against qualifying fire and attempted break-in, and that warranty is transferable to future owners.
Capacity and Interior Configuration
Customers shopping for a large gun safe in Southwest Minnesota can choose the Fatboy in two footprints. The Fatboy Jr. stores up to 45 long guns at 60.5" x 42" x 22" and 754 lbs, whereas the Fatboy holds up to 60 long guns at 60.5" x 42" x 27.5" and 834 lbs. Interior configuration holds collector gun racks and rifle rods, with door panel storage, adjustable shelving, and room for handguns, ammunition, and documents in addition to the primary long-gun loadout. Realistic capacity with scoped rifles and accessories runs below the maximum rating, and Southwest MN Safe can go through your specific collection during consultation to determine the model that fits.
Finish and Everyday Use
Liberty Safe offers the Fatboy in various exterior finishes with matching hardware, so the safe reads as furniture-grade in a den, closet, or utility room rather than industrial. Interior light kits, dehumidifier accessories, and door-panel organizers are available to round out the daily-use experience. For buyers combining this rifle and shotgun safe in Southwest Minnesota with a mixed contents load, the 110-minute fire rating and full-depth interior further make the Fatboy a sensible long gun storage safe in Southwest Minnesota for the paperwork and small valuables that tend to accumulate around a collection.
